  14.     Help wanted please...Problem is I have just upgraded my flash 
  15.     rom in usr..courier v.everything. The upgrade I used was the
  16.     correct one (sdl_76ae). I followed all instructions to the     
  17.     letter.

  19.     I now can not connect to bbs systems...upon connect i get a
  20.     lot of garbled characters on the screen. My software is set to
  21.     8..n..1 (ansi) and i`ve tried autodetect. I am pulling my hair
  22.  
  23.     out now after spending hours trying different setup strings 
  24.     for the modem. The same happens when I use a do based
  25.     terminal (Telemate).

  27.     To add to these problems..I am now finding it much harder to
  28.     connect to the internet. Before I upgraded I connected every
  29.     time I tried...but now it takes several attempts....with the 
  30.     message...(the computer u r dialling is not answering).

  32.     Anyone have any Ideas ?....please help..I have run out
  33.     of options to try.....Thanks.
